We had a tremendous storm up here just a few days ago and it knocked out out phone lines and it completely knocked out our internet.
We went and got another modem, thinking it was that but then it wasn’t so we figured that it had to be the router that was hit.
And apparently, we heard, it was awful for a lot of the Waynesboro area too…a lot of people lost power and / or internet connection. We even heard of one person who’s house got hit and it shut off everything — she had to move out until it was possible to fix it.

In any case, we have it back up now, (( obviously or I couldn’t post this, )) and we’re just glad it wasn’t any worse than it was for us. ^^
