I see her prancing through the sparks
A fairy with a wand engraving its existence
onto the bare surface of her hand
Swaying with the crackling force of wind
Her tiny toes sweeping across the sand
Running through the lighting bolt of a firecracker
I hear the laugh, blending with the howl of wind
Not an atoms weight of existence would know
Each gleam with her smile is another tear
Storming across her cheeks along a paved path
Holding on with one grip, because she sees
She sees a nebula of light in her path
The clouds form, shadowing a storm
Her face lights up with specks of rain
Arms wide out, smiling without a muscle strain
Letting herself go in the nightly storm
flying, flying, letting her wings form
Facing toward the direction of extinguished wrath
Her laugh echoing in the space between night and day
Her light will never fade, she lives in each shining ray
Even time and space couldn’t extricate her hope
She freezes in time to see her demons filching it away
Weakening is her soul, left in a sepulchral light
She eagerly refuses any glance of this sight
She closes her eyes tight to see day even in the sorrow of night
