As the tidal wave retreats back into the political ocean this Wednesday morning we look at the damage. All night I was tracking every state keeping both eyes on Fox News. You have your five main areas: The Northeast, the Southeast, the Midwest, the Rockey Mountains, and the Southwest. On the map, Red is states that Huck won, Green is McCain, and Blue is for Romney. As you can see, Huck won the vast majority of the South. This was much more than anyone expected to flock to Huckabee. The Mountain states went largely with Romney. Unfortunately, the “McCain Strand” included all of the “winner take all” states. This pushes him forward farther into the inevitable candidate position. Right now, if McCain wins the nomination, I may go independent.
